I was born in a "small" island of Jeju, South Korea
...But, I've been everywhere throughout my life.

After graduating from Byrne Creek Secondary in Vancouver, Canada, I earned my BA in Psychology from UCLA and MA in Consumer and Advertising Psychology from Korea University.

Prior to the PhD program, I worked in management and public relations consulting companies in Korea. During my Master’s program, I also received multiple research project grants from Naver Corporation (~"Google" of South Korea!) focused on advertising impact and effectiveness.

When I am out of my office, I enjoy tennis and yoga.
